Dear Ayelet and Tzvika,

First of all, I would like to thank you for opening your hearts and sharing with us your tragic story.

Your meeting with the students from the Department of Innovative Education (Democratic Schools) at the Seminar HaKibbutzim was an emotional and inspiring experience. You managed to combine a personal and social view simultaneously. You presented your story along with your views on dialog in a most complex yet sensitive manner.

The timing of this meeting—right at the closing of the war in Gaza—gave additional strength and ability to deal with the complex feelings we have as a result of the war.
