Questions: What do you wish for your country?

It’s a beautiful, good country

that has everything.

It has flowers and trees and

butterflies… lots and lots of them.

You can find almost everything you want in this country.

But one thing’s missing, and that’s peace…

I really miss it. Every day when I get up and hear on the radio about the intifada and what’s happening, I feel bad and ask Mummy - when will peace come? I’m waiting for it every day, and call out loud...

come on, peace, come on already. 

I call and call but it hasn’t come.

I asked my mother why peace doesn’t come but she didn’t answer and just stroked my head
