We would like to take this opportunity to wish all of you Chag Sameach/Happy Pesach and to thank all of our contributors who enabled us to continue meeting with children living in the south.
So far, we have distributed 300 diary kits which include Bat-Chen's Diaries along with an empty diary which hopefully will encourage the children to begin writing their own diary.
We are still receiving contributions for this important project and additional schools in the southern region are interested in having us visit them, share our presentation and discussion, and become part of the project.
We have visited the following school and regions:
*Kibbutz Kfar Azza
*Children living in Ashkelon whose parents are employed by "Mekorot"
*Fourth grade students at the following schools:
Shaar Hanegev
Nitzanei Eshkol
Yuvalei Habesor
*We have also been asked to appear at the Hofim School located on Kibbutz Yad Mordechai. Hopefully, we will receive additional and sufficient contributions in order to be able to present these children with the special diary gift packages after the Pesach vacation.
Ayelet arrives in the United States in mid-April in order to participate in festivities related to the art competition, "Embracing our Differences" which takes place in Sarasota, Florida. Bat-Chen's drawing of her family has won an award and will be displayed at the exhibit.
We are attaching one of the many notes which we received recently about the diary gift package project for children in the south as well as some pictures from these events.
Thank you again for your continued support.
