1. Songs
(7th grade diary)
For me, writing is something tremendous.
That makes me a happy person.
Songs are everything for me!
Home, dreams, the future, past and present.
Whenever I feel down, and things are hard,
I sit down and start writing,
about the past and the present,
about the future.
I write down feelings,
and what i love doing best -
imagining that people resemble plants
and friendship between people is like a flower and water.
I think, this makes a song special
and there's only one song like it.
Whenever I feel down, and things are hard,
I pick up my notebook and pen
and write.
With songs I feel lighter,
More distant,
it's just me and the song.
You can write whatever you think
about the world.
And no one says -
That's wrong! That's right!
A song has no framework, no rules
we can sing whatever we want.
It takes you away from sadness,
even though you know
that a song is just for a few moments.
A song is more than just a tune for me,
and it's not just words that you sing
and afterwards - ok, that's it.
It's life itself for me,
it's a specific world,
a world that's mine alone,
and you don’t have to be in my shoes
to understand that writing,
means forgetting it all,
and entering an imaginary world,
one that sees things differently,
opens up a loving heart.
In that world, you don't bear grudges against anyone,
it's my world -
and nobody'll take it from me.
God gave it to me
He gives it to each one of us
and to me he gave my little world,
as a gift.
Otherwise -
I don’t know how I'd manage.
Because the world of reality,
the one that's yours and mine and everyone's,
is a difficult word with so many problems
and with so much frustration.
I open the diary
and remember everything I've written
in that world,
which is just mine and yours!
In a tranquil world,
a world of rest.
