WE INVITE YOU TO BE OUR PARTNERS
PURIM PACKAGES FOR THE CHILDREN
IN THE SDEROT AND SOUTHERN REGION
A special Purim packages which will include:
Bat-Chen's DIARIES along with an empty diary in which the pupils will be invited and encouraged to begin writing their own diary.
The contribution of keeping a diary is an important and helpful tool for helping these children, who live under the constant strain of rocket fire for the past eight years, deal with the difficulties and fear which is a part of life in the Sderot region.
It is significant to note that Purim marks the anniversary of Bat-Chen's murder AND also is Bat-Chen's birthday.
The DIARIES will be given to the children after a presentation which includes a detailed explanation and readings from Bat-Chen's DIARIES.
They will be encouraged to begin writing their own diary.
In addition, a personalized "dedication sticker" will be included in each DIARY.
Hopefully, your school will participate in this project and your pupils will prepare these stickers which will appear in each DIARY.
You are invited to be our partners in hope of offering support and encouragement for these children who still live under the threat of daily rocket fire
Each "Diary Kit" costs 13 pounds and will include the latest edition of Bat-Chen's writings and diary (280 pages in color) along with an empty diary (hard bound) followed with a presentation given through the Association at a school in Sderot.
We suggest encouraging the children to organize the project through their "student council" and that each child contribute 2 pounds. The money collected will be pooled and then each school will be able to fund the purchase of a specific amount of "diary kits." It is our hope that each contributing school adopt a class or grade at the Sha'ar Ha-Negev School, where there are between 80 and 100 pupils in each grade level.
